As a Tech News Writer at TechNadu, you will craft compelling content covering security news, expert interviews, and emerging trends in the cybersecurity landscape. You will work closely with the Staff Editor to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our editorial standards. Your writing will inform, educate, and engage our audience, making complex technical topics accessible and compelling to a broad readership. Through well-researched and insightful content, you will help establish TechNadu as a trusted source in the cybersecurity space.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research in order to produce informative, engaging and original content.
- Stay updated with global cybersecurity trends, news, and developments to create relevant and timely content.
- Work closely with the Staff Editor and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with TechNadu's editorial standards.
- Optimize content for SEO best practices, ensuring high visibility in search rankings.
- Follow editorial guidelines and deadlines to maintain content consistency and quality.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines and time constraints to deliver timely, high-impact content.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in technology journalism, cybersecurity news writing, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong writing, research, and fact-checking skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and clarity.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Experience optimizing content for SEO, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and readability best practices.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Strong research skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven experience interviewing industry experts and integrating expert insights into news stories.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity threats, emerging attack methods, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of security tools, ethical hacking concepts, or technical documentation is a plus.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality content standards.
- Awareness of cybersecurity trends, industry terminology, and reputable security news sources.
